Notifications alert you to what matters to you on the platform: news published, a message received, permission to give, results available, a task to complete… They are sent automatically by the platform or by your school, and each one takes you directly to the relevant screen. They are sent to all users: parents, students, teachers, staff members, coaches…
You can find them in three places: the bell icon at the top of the screen, the notification centre, and, if you use it, the Eduka Mobile app.
Good to know: the screens shown in this article are the standard platform screens. The notifications you receive depend on your role and the services opened by your school.
In the top right of the screen, the bell icon displays in orange the number of notifications you have not yet viewed. Click on it to display them:

The notification centre displays your notifications in detail, with their date and description. It has two tabs:
The Clear all and Refresh buttons at the bottom of the list allow you to empty it or display the latest notifications received:

At the top of the notification centre, the Enable browser notifications button allows you to be alerted in real time, even when the platform is open in a background tab. Your browser will then ask for your permission: accept it. If you refused it in the past, the message "Notifications blocked by browser" is displayed; you can restore it in your browser's website settings.

Opening a notification, or removing it from the list, does not delete it: it is stored in the History tab, where you can view it again.

Key point: notifications are not kept indefinitely. A notification you have not viewed disappears after one month, and an archived notification after six months. Remember to check your notifications regularly.
If you use the Eduka Mobile app on your smartphone or tablet, your notifications are also available there:

Not receiving alerts on your phone?
Alerts are allowed, or not, by your phone itself: the platform cannot turn them on for you. Check the following:
• On iPhone: open Settings, then Notifications, tap Eduka Mobile and turn on Allow Notifications.
• On Android: open Settings, then Apps, tap Eduka Mobile, then Notifications, and turn them on. The wording may vary slightly depending on the phone brand.
• Make sure Do Not Disturb (or Focus) mode is not on and, on Android, that battery saver is not blocking the app.
• Stay logged in to the app: if you log out, alerts no longer reach you.
The first time you open the app, your phone asks whether you agree to receive notifications: if you said no, these settings are where you can change your mind.
